JOSIE BALLARD | SIXTH FORM STUDENT
I chose this subject because it was something I enjoyed at GCSE and wanted to continue doing. I have enjoyed being able to personalise my portfolio to something I want to study, and increase me independence. Art has enabled me to be able to use my time management skills better when sticking to deadlines and has also developed my essay–writing skills which will be useful in further education.
I chose Art purely because it was something I enjoyed rather than something I intend to study at university. I’d definitely recommend choosing subjects you enjoy, or you won’t enjoy your sixth form experience! But also think about what you’d like to do in the future so your subject choices will help you get onto these courses at university.
