A-Level Film Studies (WJEC Eduqas) covers a wide variety of films for students to broaden their knowledge and understanding. We offer opportunities to study mainstream American films from the past and the present as well as a range of recent and contemporary British films, American independent films and global films, both non-English language and English language. There are 2 Components covered in 2 exams and 1 Non-Exam Assessment module in Film Production where students get the opportunity to film, edit and produce their own short film and accompanying evaluation.
